Deposit and Payment
A deposit of 50% of the total order amount is required when placing an order online, by post, by email or by telephone. Once received we will send out proofs of your stationery for you to check. The remaining balance will be invoiced 7-14 days before the despatch of you order. This must be paid in full either by cheque made payable to ‘Dinkie Dynamo’ or by PayPal online before we can despatch your order.
If an order is cancelled by the customer the deposit is non refundable if we have already commenced work on you stationery.
Proofs
Proofs are sent to you for you to check wording, spelling and layout prior to commencing work on your stationery. Please check your proofs carefully as mistakes cannot be rectified once work has been started on your order. If there are no problems and you are happy with your proofs please send us an email stating that you are happy with your proofs and that you give authorisation for us to commence work on your stationery. If there are any amendments that need to be made please inform us preferably by email and if necessary we will send an amended proof. We will not start work on your order until we have received confirmation from you that you are happy to proceed.
International orders
Please note that at the present time we are only able to accept orders from Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Order of Service/Day
The Order of Service/Day price include 2 sheets of A4 double sided paper, which is 8 pages. If you require any more pages in your Order of Service/Day they will be charged at 35p per A4 sheet(double sided) per Order of Service/Day.
Timescales/Deadlines
To avoid disappointment sufficient timescales must be adhered to by the customer to allow for the process and delivery of any orders placed. These timescales apply to ‘on the day items’.
We will require information for Orders of Service/Day at least 5 weeks prior to your wedding.
For menus and table numbers we require at least 4 weeks notice and for table plans and place names we will require at least 3 weeks notice.
We cannot guarantee the delivery of any items ordered if we do not receive the information within these timescales.
Delivery
You will be notified by phone or email 7-14 days before your order is ready for despatch and at this point your remaining balance is payable. Please allow up to 8 weeks from approval of the proofs to delivery. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any delivery during transit.
Postage and Packaging
Delivery will be either by Royal Mail Special Delivery(or parcelforce 24) or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery(or Parcelforce 48). You can choose which option you prefer. If you choose the Special Delivery/Parcelforce 24 option each despatch will be charged at £20. Special Delivery and Parcelforce 24 are guaranteed next day delivery services and your order will also be tracked and traced throughout the delivery process for added piece of mind.
Recorded Delivery/Parcelforce 48 will be charged at £10 for each despatch. Recorded delivery/Parcelforce 48 is not tracked and traced.
All options will require a signature on delivery so please bear this in mind when filling out your delivery address. You may put a work address or a relative’s address if this will be easier.
We cannot be held responsible for any delivery that is lost or damaged in transit.
For orders of £400 or over you will receive one free Special Delivery/Parcelforce 24 despatch. Subsequent deliveries will be charged at £10 for Recorded Delivery/Parcelforce 48 or £20 for Special Delivery/Parcelforce 24 depending on the option you choose.
Your stationery
As our stationery is all individually hand made to order please note that there may be some slight variations between designs. Also as all computer monitors are different please note that the colours of the actual designs may differ slightly from the colours you see on the website.
In the event of any materials for your order being out of stock we will find a suitable substitute for your order (of course with your approval).
Please be aware that there are small components on some designs which are unsuitable for small children and babies as they may cause a choking hazard.
Excellent quality white envelopes are supplied with your stationery with the exception of place cards, menus and order of service/day.
